Michelle Shakallis Interiors Ltd (MSI) collects personal data from clients & suppliers for the purpose of conducting its business. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for their marketing and advertising purposes. This policy covers how and what data we collect and how we use it. How we hold data, and for how long, and how we delete data.

1.0 Data Collection: How and what we collect

1.1 Enquiries via the website 'contact' page, by phone, in-bound email or in person will result in personal data being collected - such as name, email address, telephone number and home / business address.

1.2 When someone visits www.michelleshakallis.com we use a third-party service, Google.

1.3 Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

2.0 Data Storage:

2.1 Information is held in electronic format.

2.2 Electronic data is held on an electronic database. All electronic equipment is password protected.

3.0 Data Retention and deletion

3.1 We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services clients have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our policies.

3.2 Data will be deleted after it is no longer necessary for us to retain (see 3.1)

3.2.1 Electronic data is permanently deleted from all devices & electronic storage & back-up facilities.

4.0 Data uses: What we do with data

4.1 We collect data to allow us to correspond with clients & suppliers and in conjunction with carrying out interior design services.

4.2 Design Data as per 1.4 is collated to assist in developing a design concept that reflects the interests, characteristics, and functionality requirements of the client.

4.5 Data may also be used as part of follow up to client & suppliers such as ‘Thank You’ notes, additional work phases or projects, and requests for portfolio photography

4.6 Data may be shared with associated third-party trades/suppliers in conjunction with carrying out interior design work and at the request of or in agreement with the client/supplier.

4.6.1 We attempt to minimise the amount of personal information we disclose to third parties to what is directly relevant and necessary to accomplish the specified purpose.

4.6.2 MSI cannot be held responsible for how third-party trades/suppliers handle data, but would expect them to fully comply with GDPR.

 5.0 Access to Data:
